Fenway

Dunedin is an exciting place to hang out to anyone who wants to visit. Right along the coast of the water lies Fenway. What was once a beautiful hotel, and a college for many students, now lies an abandoned building, only recently purchased, but still left to fester in the Florida heat. I may have snuck on the property a few times to catch a glimpse of the beauty that used to be. Recently, last Sunday to be exact, I was meeting up with an old boyfriend Jacob who lives right down the street from Fenway. He asked me if I wanted to go there first and check it out, and we went on our way. We went around the back and found that the new owners tore down one of the buildings that used to be the college dorms. The building next to it was still standing and had something green in one of the windows. It shocked me when I first went near it, and realized it was just an old monster toy. Since the window was already broken on the one side, we moved a board and took the toy with us. We decided to name him Henry and take him along with us. Then we decided to go into the main building which is said to be haunted, and can be kind of creepy the first time you enter it. We saw a broken window in the back and decided to climb in. It led to a small bathroom, and a hallway took us to the rest of the building. We walked the 3 floors and went into few of the rooms, avoiding the ones that smelled like smoke. We eventually found a room, and called it our own. It had a gorgeous view of the water, and just outside the window was a roof that we climbed out onto. We hung there for a while and decided to explore some more. We reached the very top of the building and looked at the view, hoping not to get caught in the process. After taking some pictures we decided to go back to our room and do any kind of decorating we could. We put up this chandelier and a picture on the wall, then returned to the roof. I kept getting suspicious and hearing noises so we decided we would go back to the park we met up at. We decided to leave out the front doors because of how difficult it would be getting out the back. We had been near there earlier and unlocked the door in case we wanted to come back. When we finally left the room, it was getting dark outside which made it very hard to see. We used our phones as flashlights and made our way back to the front door. We realized that the door had been locked since we went there earlier, which was strange considering we were the only ones in the building. We concluded that someone must have come in and locked it as they left, or maybe some spiritual beings were trying to keep us inside. We may never know. Gaining 99 Million Dollars???

Okay so I didn’t win 99 million dollars unfortunately but while watching an old Kim Possible episode where the character Ron wins that much money made me start to think. What would I do if I won that kind of money? The first thing that came to mind for me was buying this house I’m in love with and fix it up to be my dream house. But then I remembered a seminar I attended recently that taught me more than I ever thought I would know about money. I learned about investments and tax liens and a bunch of other funny words that if tackled the right way, can make you big bucks. So another thing I would do is invest in some things to double my money. And besides just spending my money, I’d make sure I put a lot of it in the bank because money can only last for so long, and I’d want to use some for my future children’s college fund. But something I’ve learned about money is that you have to have money to make money, so I’d probably start my own company where my employees and I would buy, sell, and flip houses for a great profit. This not only helps my company make money, but also provides great homes for people to purchase. I’d honestly be a little scared to gain this kind of money at the same time because people always try to be your friend so you’ll give them money, and I wouldn’t want that. I feel like even my family members would do anything to be with me so I’d hand over some cash. And I wouldn’t mind giving them some, but rich people stay rich by not giving people their money, and I learned that from Adam Sandler in one of his movies. So I think I’d make a pretty responsible rich person, but sometimes I hope I never have to find out so that I don’t end up like characters in those TV shows, broke.

Tattoo Nightmares

Lately I have been staying up later than usual, which leads to me usually channel surfing and finding some, well interesting shows. Now I came across a show called Tattoo Nightmares, and I have seen tattoo shows similar to it, but not this exact show. There are 3 main artists that do the tattoos which are usually tattoos covering old tattoos or bad ones. From what I’ve seen, there are many instances where male customers got a tattoo when they were young, or got a very inappropriate tattoo, and now have a family of their own, and do not want their children to see it. These customers get some really cool cover-up tattoos, however it’s scary to know that it might not cover it completely, or take to scar tissue. I myself have wanted a tattoo for some time now, but until I know exactly what I want, I decided to wait so i don’t make a bad decision. I have had lots of people with tattoos give me tips on finding a good artist, or where I should get the tattoo, so I just need to decide what I should get. I originally thought about a dream catcher because they’re pretty but also because I’m considered a “night owl” for staying up so late, but dream catchers seem to be so common nowadays. Next, I figured I wanted a crescent moon with like a tree because I love trees and the outdoors, but I am still worried about making the wrong decision. So I’m still waiting and hoping that I can come up with an idea. My close friend Curtis was over at my house one day and we were drawing sharpie tattoos on each other, and he drew a really gorgeous tree I will picture below. It seemed to really work well on me even though he did it on my lower back. I would not be getting it there because I want it on my rib cage area, but it may just be the tattoo for me.
